Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which began on February 24, is a despicable act of sabotage of the international order.
There are no words to describe the gruesome battlefield gradually becoming clear. As a researcher in natural sciences, I express my vital concern over the misuse of scientific knowledge and technology as tools that threaten people's lives. I sincerely hope that the people of Ukraine will be able to enjoy peace and security as soon as possible.
